Iceland: First Stop, Reykjavik

Today’s cup of tea: Emperors' Cloud and Mist Green Tea from Teavana

Iceland. This adventure began with a good friend inviting me along with a group on a spring break road trip to the land of fire and ice. Over the next few posts I am excited to finally share a few shots from each day of our amazing, whirlwind tour of Iceland.

After a 5am landing, we watched a frigid and beautiful sunrise at the Bridge Between the Continents on the Reykjanes Peninsula.

As luck would have it, we stumbled upon a small coffee house in Grindavik, and enjoyed a breakfast of apple cake and cappuccinos, accompanied by story after story of Icelandic folklore and local fishing history from the coffee shop owner.
